Arjun's Small Engine Workshop
Arjun is a Badi, a very marginalised people group in Nepal, and Arjun himself has very few resources to sustain his life. Early in 2023, Arjun had the idea of starting a small engine workshop in his local village. There was an empty space that he could rent for cheap, and he'd completed a small engine mechanics course several years earlier. This was a great opportunity for Arjun to become self-sustaining.
Divine Bakery
Kalpana and Smriti are young women from very marginalised communities who received training in bakery skills. Their desire was to open a bakery, however, funding was proving to be an issue. Living Faith Nepal agreed to provide start-up equipment that the women could progressively pay off. The future plans are to use Divine Bakery as a business that we partner with to train our future students in baking.
Goat Business
Rupesh is a pastor in training in Sangachowk. One of our goals for self-sustaining projects is to see pastors able to have an income to provide for their families. Rupesh had the idea of doing goat farming, because they live in a rural area where there is plenty of pasture for goats to graze and breed well. Goat meat is the most popular meat in Nepal. First, a goat house will be built, then ten goats purchased.
Water Bore Project
Hikmat Badi has worked tirelessly for the Badi community in many different areas. He has been driven by his own experiences and those of his family to see the Badi people given a brighter future. Hikmat and his wife, Kreeti, have taken on the responsibility of 110 girls and boys from very poor marginalized communities in Western Nepal. The Nepali government has given them land and built new buildings for them to live in. It is a great encouragement to us to see what they have now. They also needed to have a bore dug for them to have water to use for all household needs. Living Faith Nepal raised support to see this project achieved.
Boys' Room
Pastor Yam and his wife Sonu work in Kohalpur, western Nepal. They have settled in a slum area just outside of the main city with 700 houses. They have taken in six extra children that have come from very destitute situations. This has given them a big responsibility. It is a joy to see how they interact together and how much love and respect there is for each other, but they have a very small house with two bedrooms, so the boys were sleeping in the house next door. Living Faith Nepal decided to get behind building a new room so the boys could sleep in their own house with the rest of the family.
Earthquake Relief
In November 2023, in mid-western Nepal, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck the district of Jajarkot. 140 people were killed, many others injured, and the town suffered major damage. Through generous giving, Living Faith Nepal was able to provide urgently-needed food, blankets, tarps and medicines for 51 families in the community.
Sewing Machine
Rachel is a single mother with a young daughter, Banepa. It was brought to our attention that Rachel had been offered a job earning a small income making little cloth bags for a business in the local area. If Rachel had her own sewing machine, she could start doing this. Living Faith Nepal agreed this would be a great opportunity for her to earn a small income to help her and her daughter stand on their own and give her purpose and control of her life.

Empowering Girls with Tailoring Skills: A Path to Freedom and Dignity
In Nepal, thousands of young girls grow up in extreme poverty, marginalized from birth simply because of their caste. They are often labeled as “untouchable” by society—an identity that brings lifelong discrimination, exclusion, and hardship.
Without education, skills, or opportunities, these girls face a grim future. Many are at high risk of exploitation, forced labor, or human trafficking—one of Nepal’s most devastating crises. Each year, an estimated 35,000 men, women, and children are trafficked, while 1.5 million Nepalese remain highly vulnerable due to poverty and lack of education.
A Life-Changing Opportunity
We believe that education, skills training, and employment are the most powerful tools to break this cycle of vulnerability. Our goal is to provide these young women with basic tailoring training—a skill that will empower them to earn a living, regain their dignity, and build a future where they are no longer at risk of exploitation.
How Your Support Can Make a Difference
By sponsoring this project, you are not just giving these girls a skill; you are giving them hope, independence, and a future. With your help, they will receive:
✅ Tailoring training – equipping them with practical skills to create and sell clothing
✅ A safe and supportive learning environment – free from discrimination and fear
✅ The tools and resources they need to start their own small business or find employment
✅ A way out of poverty and exploitation – empowering them to stand on their own feet
Be Part of Their Transformation
Your support can change the course of these girls’ lives forever. Will you help us give them the chance they deserve? Every donation—big or small—makes a real impact. Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and create a future where these young women thrive instead of survive. Join us in making a difference. Give today.
