One week left to share something extra with our missionaries this Christmas via the Christmas Gift Fund.

ACCEPT
SOCIETY

Accept Society began in 1999 to respond to the stigma and lack of care for HIV/AIDS patients in India. Now in its 25th year, we have served over 6,500 individuals, including orphans, the elderly, and the destitute. We provide physical, psychological, and social care, aiming to rehabilitate and reintegrate people into society regardless of background. Accept operates care homes and community centres, seeking to be a door of opportunity for those in need—a place where people are supported until their families can accept and care for them.

Care Home

Our care home provides medical care for HIV/AIDS, cancer, and TB patients, along with 24-hour nursing, doctor consultations, trained palliative practitioners, and counselling. We offer short- and long-term care, need-based financial support, legal help, and funeral services. Families are rehabilitated into small homes. As HIV/AIDS cases declined, the care home expanded to serve all kinds of patients, continuing to be a place of dignity and support for the sick and needy.

Children's Home

Started in 2005 with one boy, the children’s home now includes separate buildings for boys and girls, with rooms for those over 18. We care for abandoned and orphaned children, supporting them through schooling and into adulthood. After school, some reconnect with relatives, some work and live independently, some pursue college, and a few become staff at Accept. The home provides shelter, education, and a stable environment for children from all backgrounds.

Seniors' Home

We began our senior care services in 2015 with homes for elderly men and women. Geriatric care is provided through five rehabilitation homes and a newly developed 25-bed facility. With India’s aging population rising, Accept is expanding to meet growing demand, offering both free and paid care. The seniors’ home provides a safe and respectful space for those who are neglected or unable to be cared for by family.

Counselling, Training and Awareness

We offer counselling services, training for employment, and awareness programs in villages, factories, schools, and colleges. We support patients with job placement, legal aid, and hospital referrals. College students visit for practical training, and many former patients now serve as staff. Accept also contributes to HIV/AIDS prevention through education, surveillance support, and community engagement, helping reduce stigma and promote reintegration.

Join the Mission

Accept Society operates entirely through the support of donors. Every contribution helps provide care, shelter, and dignity to individuals who have been marginalised due to illness, age, or circumstance. Your partnership enables us to continue our work and expand our reach. Join us in making a lasting impact—your support opens the door for someone in need.

Donation Details

Please provide sufficient donor AND recipient identification. Gifts without sufficient identification make the correct allocation of gifts challenging and delays the sending of receipts. If you have sent a gift and have not yet received a receipt, please contact us. Your kind partnership in this administration concern is much appreciated. You may email info@amtaid.com.au with your project splits if giving to more than one cause.
